CARVE OUT TIME
The most important thing in Mat’s life is his daughter Cora, and making sure he fills her childhood with special memories she can reflect on when she is all grown up.
He is very intentional about making time for fun, outdoor family activities they could enjoy together. One weekend he wanted to take Cora camping, but when he thought about the expense of purchasing all the camping gear they would need, he wished he could rent it instead.

This kind of service just did not exist in his area, so he decided to create it alongside life and business partner Rebecca, who knows well the challenges of single parenting. Rebecca and her three children, Zach, Allie and Laine, are outdoors as much as possible. So, Carver Camping has become a blended family business. Spending time in nature as a family is bonding, healing, and reenergizing for this crew, and it’s FUN! They know other families want this same experience.
Mat and Rebecca spent about a year gathering tents, air mattresses, bedding, blankets, chairs, lanterns, flashlights, games, natural insect control, and all the other gear a family would need to create the perfect camping experience.
